Greco At Taormina ACCOMMODATION - There are two apartments with-in 'Greco' At Taormina. The principle apartment on the 1st floor is 65m2 and is fully self contained, bathroom with shower, fully equipped kitchen and ample terrace area's.
The 'Monolocale' on the ground floor is 35m2 and is furnished with 2 foldout sofa beds and can sleep 4 people. There is a laundry, kitchen unit and bathroom and a combined lounge living area.
'Greco' At Taormina - ACCOMMODATION - Prices. The principle apartment is available on a nightly rate
of 120 Euro and weekly rate of 700 Euro.
The 'Monolocale' is available on a nightly rate of 75 Euro, adn a weekly rate of 420 Euro.
For longer periods of rent prices are by negotiation.
About Taormina
Though it is only about 200 meters above sea level, Taormina seems much higher. The Greek amphitheatre was built in the third century BC, and expanded by the Romans, who enlarged the stage and added a partial roof (now destroyed). Reserved seating existed even in Greek times; a seat bears the inscription of the name of Philistide, wife of Hieron II of Syracuse. The view of Mount Etna and the sea beyond the theatre is breathtaking. The theatre is the site of dramatic performances during Summer; the seasons alternate with those of Segesta, the site of Sicily's other large Greek amphitheatre.
